Hannon Made is a woodworking company that delivers perfectly-made, functional, and unique pieces for your home. Josh Hannon has been woodworking for over a decade. He is self-taught and has taken the time and care to become an expert in the craft. Each piece is individually and methodically handcrafted in his Greenfield workshop. Hannon Made is a family-run business, with Josh’s wife Sara helping behind the scenes and their sons helping out in the workshop when appropriate. You’re invited to be part of the process, too. When it comes to custom orders, they will gladly send emails along the way with updates and pictures to keep you in the loop, and they love to see photos of finished projects in their forever homes.
Each piece is designed to speak to the person who brings it home. Josh’s goal is to make each piece as unique as possible and as individual as it can be. He hopes the experience of buying a piece from Hannon Made is as personal and involved for you as it is for him. No two pieces are exactly the same, and it takes special care and intention to develop each pattern. Each pattern is an experiment, and Josh enjoys seeing which woods and grain directions work well together to create the overall feel of a piece.
Quality and durability are just as important as the aesthetics of each piece created. Josh hand selects each board of domestic and exotic wood from local lumber yards. He then brings them to his shop and mills and works them to create the pieces. All of his work is naturally colored. He doesn’t add any stains or dyes. The items are all beautiful and functional, and they make great gifts!
