Birch Lip Balm is a sustainable company that produces a botanical lip balm with high-quality organic ingredients. Meg Cole is the creator, owner, and manufacturer of Birch Lip Balm. Always a hard worker, she started making lip balm as a passion project, looking for ingredients that fit her lifestyle and criteria. She wanted a lip balm with no artificial ingredients or coloring, that was cruelty-free and long lasting, along with not being tacky, gritty, or greasy like other natural lip balms. She created Birch, a lip balm with all of the good and none of the grit, just smooth, long lasting lip wear with no harsh, synthetic ingredients tricking you into constantly reapplying. The ingredients used are organic, unrefined, and raw, maintaining all of their benefits.
In her personal life, Meg tries to limit her waste and buy organic and fair trade products, and Birch makes an honest effort to reduce cosmetic waste. This product is cruelty-free, and its packaging is 100% recyclable and biodegradable. It’s made in small batches right here in western Massachusetts.
“Birch Lip Balm is fantastic. My friend… introduced me to it and I don’t think I’ll ever use another lip balm again! It’s not gooey, greasy, or artificial smelling. I love the original peppermint – it feels really nice on the lips and the oval design is easy to apply and stores nicely in my jeans pocket. I love that they’re female and locally owned too! Definitely recommend.”
