Our Bridge of Flowers bead celebrates the beautiful all-volunteer garden stunningly created on a 1908 trolley bridge hovering over the Deerfield River in Shelburne Falls, MA.
The Bridge of Flowers bead was a detailed collaboration between Bridget Bresnahan of Flora! The Shop (here on this website and also located in Holyoke, MA, behind Nick’s Nest) and Lori Novis, founder of Mango Fish, Inc.
We incorporated varying textures and vibrant colors; a sweet buzzing bee and captivating Swarovski crystal flower swing freely at the top of the bead.
Each pendant is hand sewn with 72 carefully selected glass and crystal beads from the Czech Republic, Austria and Japan.
A fine jeweler’s needle and 8lb. tension jeweler’s thread is used to weave this bead. We then add a headpin and two Swarovski crystals to complete the design.
