Description

This ceramic mug was thrown on the wheel and features a thumb rest for a comfortable hold. It has a rounded body with a short neck, and a thumb rest at the top of a comfortable two-finger handle. It is glazed in a sophisticated matte charcoal black glaze on the outside, with a rim of drippy glossy greenish-blue, and a glossy sky blue on the inside.

This ceramic mug is a beautiful and modern way to enjoy coffee, tea, or cocoa. It makes a special gift, or keep it for yourself!

This signed and dated mug is thrown on the wheel from white stoneware clay, and fired to 2170° Fahrenheit. Variations in the glazes are to be expected (and welcomed!) as this item was entirely handcrafted. 

Glazes are lead-free, food-safe, and fine in the microwave and dishwasher.

Shipping Policy

All U.S. orders ship via USPS Mail in 1-2 business days. Please select the mail class that works best for you, or contact me for more information.

You can expect to receive tracking information on your order when I prepare your order for shipping, along with a notice of delivery when it arrives.

GIFT PACKAGING: Please let me know if this is a gift. I am happy to include a card and a personal note with your gift purchase.

ADDRESS: Please set the shipping address to the correct destination; whether to you or a gift recipient. Please check the shipping details under your account purchases. If the details are incorrect, please send me a note. I will work with you as best as I can! But it is your responsibility to enter the correct address, and you will be responsible for any further shipping fees if your order needs to be shipped again.

PACKAGING: Pottery is fragile and requires a lot of padding to arrive safely! I re-use packaging materials whenever possible, and have a whole team of neighbors, family, and friends saving me bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and wrapping paper. I encourage you to re-use these materials again, or to pass them along to another shipper! You may also return packaging to me, at your expense.

SHIPPING DAMAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Please contact me immediately with photos of the damaged pottery and packaging. Please retain the damaged item(s) and packaging while a claim is processed through our carrier. It may be necessary to present them at the local post office. I will work with you on a replacement, shop credit, or refund.

RETURNS: If the delivered item does not meet your expectations, please contact me within 5-days of receipt to arrange for return. Please repack the pottery to arrive unused and in good condition. Return shipping, insurance, and tracking is your responsibility. If a piece arrives broken, it will not be refunded. It is your responsibility to file a claim with your shipping carrier.

CANCELLATION: Please reach out ASAP if you need to cancel your order. Once the order has been packed for shipping it may not be canceled.
