Black and blue ceramic heart mug

Description

This heart shaped mug is perfect for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soup…or whatever makes you happy. The heart shape says it all, it always brings a smile to the recipient of this great mug.

This beautiful mug is glazed using my matte black glaze with overlapping blue and glaze. When the mug is still wet, I alter the mug to create the heart shape. I dip the entire mug in my matte black glaze, when it is dry I dip the rim in my blue glazes. This creates beautiful colors where they overlap and drip. 

Each piece is hand-thrown, glazed in lead-free glazes, and fired in my kiln. I use numerous raw materials to create each of my many unique glazes.

Handmade as always with love! Since each piece is individually made, there may be slight differences in size and color variations. All of my pottery is dishwasher, microwave, and food safe. (I do, however, recommend hand washing.
